The Elmhurst Running club was founded in 1997 as a means to bring together a community of people who share a love of running on the Prairie Path. Uniting runners from surrounding communities including Elmhurst, Addison, Villa Park, Oak Park, and Bensenville allows our club to empower a variety of paces. From walk-to-runners to 6-minute-milers, the ERC has a pace and a place for all! We have many levels of runners including marathoners, ultra marathoners, 5kers, and those taking their first steps on the path. Whether you are interested in running your first 5k or would like to join us throughout the summer for marathon miles, we have a place for you. We aspire to inspire our members to love each of life’s miles with a smile and empower the Elmhurst Community to share a love of running.
